01. Drive With Pride

Driving skills training for underprivileged women and youth at nominal fees Women have been working shoulder to shoulder with men in progressive society like India.  Women are also entering in unchartered professions such as driving / security guards etc. to earn their living.

Driving skills offer ample opportunities to underprivileged girls/ youth.  Hence, in 2021 -22, Sarathi Youth Foundation with the help of Vatsalya Trust Mumbai started ‘Drive with Pride’ Course to impart driving skill to unemployed youth. However, road to employment and successful entrepreneurship is not easy.  Passion to become profession requires right strategy, skills and precise approach.

02. Tobacco Free School

Tobacco Free School Campaign is implemented by District Education Department, Salaam Mumbai Foundation and Sarathi Youth Foundation to make schools tobacco free. In which guidance is given at school level regarding compliance of norms regarding ban on consumption and sale of tobacco products in and around the school. Sarathi is overseeing the work of Solapur district along with Salaam Mumbai Foundation as a District Supporting Organization (Partner NGO). Tobacco free school campaign is being implemented in 4720 schools in Solapur district. 1140 schools have participated in the campaign, out of which 160 schools have been declared as tobacco free schools.

03. Akshay TB Project

Akshay Project of Catholic Health Association for Tuberculosis was implemented by Sarathi in Khed taluka of Pune district and slums areas of Solapur city. Home visits, tuberculosis awareness, patient discovery and treatment were carried out under this project. About 500 suspected patients were identified and tested for tuberculosis. Patients who were diagnosed with tuberculosis were referred for further treatment.
